About The Project
Grief is hard, and it’s even harder when adults don’t quite get it.

“Letters to Parents and Carers” is a space for young people to share honest, anonymous letters about what really helps (and what doesn’t) when you’re grieving.
It’s a way to say the things you’ve been carrying.
To help adults understand what support feels like.

How to Take Part
1
Start With What You Wish Adults Knew
Think about what you want to say, then begin your letter with:
“Dear Parent/Caregiver, when I’m grieving, I wish you knew…”
2
Write From the Heart

Your letter can be short or long. Just be honest. Say what you’ve been holding in, in your own words.
3
Send It Anonymously

Use our short form to share your letter. You can stay anonymous or use a nickname—whatever feels right for you.
4
We Review It With Care
Every letter is gently checked to make sure it feels kind and safe.
5
You Can Always Change Your Mind
If you ever want to update or remove your letter, just let us know. No pressure, ever.

Other Ways to Support
If you can't donate to this campaign but would like to support us another way, that's great too! You could organise your own fundraising activity for this campaign, like a local bake-sale or sports challenge. Or you could spread the word and ask all your friends, family, and online contacts to support us! Simply sharing on social media is a huge help, and we're already grateful!
