How are you involved with Apart of Me?
I joined the charity after deciding to shift my career fully into the end of life and bereavement sector. When I came across Apart of Me and what they doing for young people, it really aligned with my personal experiences in bereavement. Today, I lead their marketing and brand strategy, helping to raise awareness of their Guides Programme and Apps.
Is there someone or something that you love that isn’t here anymore?
My mum died when I was 19 of breast cancer, which changed my world and future trajectory. I still miss her every day, and I'm grateful for the way her life and death influenced me.
What is guaranteed to make you laugh?
Task Master; Alex Horne and Greg Davies as a duo are comedy gold. Also my whippet, every day.
List some silly facts about you:
I can't cook to save my life. Even toast can perish on my watch.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Never wait until you feel ready to try something new. Just start, you can learn the rest as you go, and failure is only part of the learning. So, just try.
