About the Role
Responsibilities
Plan, create, and publish a minimum of 3-5 posts per week, tailoring content to each platform's unique audience and algorithm.
Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely and friendly manner.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to promote events, campaigns, and key initiatives on social media.
Track social media trends, hashtag strategies, and updates in platform algorithms to keep the organisation’s profiles optimised and relevant.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing social media accounts, preferably for non-profit or volunteer organisations.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices, and content trends.
Excellent written communication skills and an eye for visual design; experience with Canva or similar design tools is a plus.
Familiarity with analytics tools like Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, or Google Analytics to track engagement and reach.
