Keep your head above the water
00:00 / 01:16
Hey there, you're probably listening to this because you're feeling a bit lost right now.
That's OK, and I get that it's all overwhelming and nobody really knows where to go from here.
I've been there too, some years back when my father died.
I didn't care for anything anymore.
There was nobody to help.
And I just wanted to hide away from the world.
But when you're in an ocean of hurt and confusion, there is one thing that matters most to keep your head above the water.
As a kid, I loved this great show on Nickelodeon called Avatar The Last Airbender.
In one of the most desperate moments, one kind uncle-like character had the best advice that I think saved my life a few times by now, he said.
In the darkest times, hope is something you give yourself.
That is the meaning of inner strength.
So I know that it hurts, and I know that it will never be as before, but keep your head above the water and keep moving because there is a shore worth reaching.
Still here, still breathing, and I know that you can be too.
